James W. Robinson is a native Houstonian, who attended Commonwealth Institute and graduated in the spring of 2010. James is now a provisional licensed funeral director and embalmer. James is serving his apprenticeship with Clayton Funeral Homes, and will be fully licensed in June 2011. James has been married for ten years to his wife, Carrie, and they have a four year-old son, Austin. James grew up in the Boy Scouts, and became an Eagle Scout. He has enjoyed his involvement, and continues to remain involved as a Scout Leader. James made a career change in 2009, and became interested in the funeral profession. He found the school to be very interesting, and finds his career very rewarding.
