Eloise Clark Neumann, age 84 of Pearland, passed away on February 5, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Lula (Fogle) Clark and son Ronnie Neumann. She is survived by her son, Mark Neumann; daughter, Carla Comer & her husband Dwayne; brother, Harold Clark & his wife Teresa; grandchildren, Nicki & Derek Comer, Austin & Clark Neumann, and Kristin Roach; great-grandchildren, Kyle & Ashley Comer, Emily & Justin Ruisinger, and Brittany Anderson; and a host of many other family & friends.
Eloise was born on October 16, 1925 in Luling, Texas and resided in Deer Park and later Pearland for the last three years. Eloise worked as a bookkeeper during her working career. After she retired, she turned her home into a nurturing daycare. She dearly loved all of the children and they quickly became like a part of her family. It was not unusual for Eloise to be seen at the grocery store with 6 or 7 of her “kids” in tow! Her grandchildren affectionately called her “Me Maw”. In her spare time, Eloise enjoyed doing the laundry and cooking. It was nothing for her to cook for 2 or 25 people. Her kitchen would be a mess when she was finished but the meals were always wonderful. She took care of everyone and was always doing for others. Eloise was small in stature but large in her convictions. She will be fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service for Eloise will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Clayton Chapel. Pastor Keith Anderson of New Harvest Christian Fellowship will be officiating.
