Renfrow, Robert “Bob”


Robert D. (Bob) Renfrow passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Houston, Texas surrounded by his wife and family after a brief illness. He was born September 1, 1937 to Alford and Margaret Renfrow. Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Agnes; son, Robert (Robbie) & wife Rachele; daughter, Lisa White & husband Kenneth; brothers, Alford Renfrow Jr. & wife Shirley, and C.T. Renfrow & wife Kathy; sisters, Helen Hubenak & husband Johnny, and Carolyn Senior & husband Ralph; granddaughter, Heather Forrest; and great-granddaughter Hailey Olivarez; and a host of many other family & friends.

Bob was a wonderful, loving Christian husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a man of strong faith and a member of Quail Valley Church in Missouri City. He was a successful business owner of Renfrow Grocery in Fresno, Texas for 35 years. Raising cattle was his hobby and brought him great joy and relaxation.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 10:00 am in the Clayton Chapel followed by a Celebration of Bob’s Life at 11:00 am. Services will be officiated by Pastors Clarence Lee and C.T. Canion of Quail Valley Church.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your church or send memorials to Country Place Foundation, 3119 Flowerfield Lane, Pearland, TX 77584.

    Ralph and I send our heartfelt sympathy to Agnes and the entire Renfrow family. I have known Bob since high school days – a long time. Many great memories. He was a fine man. I know he will be missed terribly.

    I am very saddened and send my deepest condolences to Agnes, Robbie, his wife,Rachle Lisa, Kenny, Heather, and baby Hailey as well as all who loved Bob. Everyone knows he was a fantastic man. He touched many lives over the years. We will miss him very much.
