Homer Hamilton “Bud” O’Neil Jr., age 83 of Pearland, passed away on June 29, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer & Minne (Berry) O’Neil and his wife. He is survived by his daughter, Caron; and grandson, Kelly O’Neil & his wife Tara; and a host of many other friends.
Bud was born on September 23, 1926 in Denver, Colorado and resided in Texas for the last several years. He retired from the sales department at Budweiser in Houston.
A Memorial Gathering in honor of Bud will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Lakeview Lodge at Country Place, Pearland, Texas.
Caron, I am so sorry about your dad. He was one of the last true gentlemen. I worked with him at the Astros and he always had a smile for me. I know Houston is a bit dimmer and duller without him but Heaven is a lot brighter with him.
