John Wesley Odom III, 67, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley II and Mary Elizabeth Odom. John is survived by his loving wife, Phylis Hazel; daughter, Tamara Michelle B Read Obituary
John and I worked together years ago. He was Senior analyst and I Junior. but he was really my boss. always a friend. I miss him.
I just heard about this and it’s unbelievably sad. It has been a very long time since we saw the two of you but that doesn’t mean that we don’t care very deeply. I’m so sorry. God bless.

My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your dear husband. John was my next door neighbor on Mullins Drive in Houston for many years. He lived with his mother, Betty, at the time.
