Adolfo Lopez Mercado's Obituary
Adolfo Lopez Mercado, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcial and Alfonsa Lopez; brother, Arturo Lopez; and sister, Melania Lopez. Adolfo is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Virginia Lopez; sons, Adolfo Lopez Jr., Hector Lopez and wife, Irma; brothers, Ricardo, Lopez, Sergio Lopez, Osiel Lopez, Demetrio Lopez; sisters, Yolanda Lopez, Celia Lopez; grandchildren, Alexis and Abigail Lopez; and a host of other family and friends.
Adolfo was a loving father and a great family member to all. He had a very kind and giving heart that would extend help to all his friends and family in need. Adolfo had a passion for cooking and loved feeding everyone that came around. He was especially known for his sense of humor and ability to make everyone around him laugh. Adolfo loved shooting pool and was quite a good player. He always made friends everywhere he went. Adolfo will forever be remembered for his strong will, his open mind and his determination to complete any task set before him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Adolfo will be held Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 1:00 until 5:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 4:30 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Deacon Richard Reyes officiating. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
