View Tribute Book Alberto Quilantan De Leon, known affectionately as Beto or Bert Delon, passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 69. He was born on December 12, 1954, in Raymondville, TX, and most recently resided in Groves, TX. Alberto was a devoted Christian, finding solace and strength in his faith throughout his life. Alberto was a man of many passions and hobbies. He loved listening to music, with his favorite bands and artists being Ramon Ayala, Emilio Navaira, and many more. In his free time, he would love to read books and watch his favorite tv shows. One of Alberto's greatest joys in life was his family. He was married to his beloved wife, Matilda R. De Leon, for 23 years, and together they raised a beautiful family. Alberto leaves behind seven daughters: Monserrat, Jessica, Michelle, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Joann, and Lisa, as well as two sons, Steve and Michael. He was also a proud grandfather to seventeen grandchildren, and one great grandchild, who brought immense happiness to his life. Alberto had a vibrant personality, always cracking jokes and being the life of the party. He had a story to tell for every occasion and was known for his words of wisdom. His family was his top priority, and he worked tirelessly to ensure they were well taken care of. Alberto's proudest accomplishment was supporting his family, and his love for them knew no bounds. In addition to his immediate family, Alberto is survived by his brother Tony De Leon and his sisters Herlinda Diaz, Emma Chavez, and Zenaida Gatica. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Alberto Quilantan De Leon will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to his family will forever be remembered. As his favorite saying goes, "Soy De Leon!" You will forever be in our hearts. We love you daddy.
