Alexandra Rae Bonefas' Obituary
Alexandra “Allie” Rae Bonefas, of Pearland, Texas passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 31. She was born on March 8, 1989 to Andrew Bonefas and Deborah (Ziehr) Bonefas in Houston, Texas. Allie married James “Alex” Alexander Scott on July 11, 2020 and was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church.
To know Allie was to love her. Her spark, charisma, and beauty made her an absolute force in any room. She was obsessed with musicals, high-heeled shoes, Audrey Hepburn, “Friends”, and anything her grandmas cooked—not necessarily in that order. She hated laundry and haunted houses—not necessarily in that order. She never met an animal she didn’t adopt and there wasn’t a movie she couldn’t quote. There will never be a shortage of things to say about Allie. Her heart was vast. We thank God that we were able to know and love her. We find peace in the knowledge that her passion and light will live on forever.
Allie is survived by her husband, Alex Scott; parents, Andrew and Deborah Bonefas; sister, Alyssa Bonefas; brother, John Cole Bonefas; grandparents, William and Mary Ann Bonefas; grandmother, Ruth Ziehr; aunt, Karen Ziehr; Father and Mother-in-law, Jim and Judy Scott; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kaci Scott; nephews, Brody and Ryder Scott and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Alvin Ziehr, and uncle, Glenn Ziehr.
While nothing will ever fill the void her passing has left in our hearts, we hope that her memory will inspire others to a higher cause. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a memorial donation. All funds will be given in Allie's name to the Memorial Hermann Prevention & Recovery Center (ParC).
