She was my last aunt, all of my mother's and father's family are now gone. Sorry I can't be there for the funeral. I sent her a book about Charlotte Peters but I don't think she had a chance to read it (she loved to watch the Charlotte Peters show on channel 5 in St. Louis). She was very confused the last time I talked to her on the phone. God bless her, she was sweet, funny, and very loving. Sorry cousins. Steve

Clyde and I wish to convey our deep sympathy for your loss while at the same time feel happy for Aunt Alyce to be reunited with her whole family! We know there is much laughter and sharing of stories among the Holland/Helton clans. My happiest, most joyful memories during my childhood involve all the times we were altogether. Memories of the clubhouse with Nanny, Papaw, Aunt Alyce, Uncle Kent, the aunts, the uncles, cousins are so precious to me. I loved all the Thanksgivings and gatherings at the house in Waterloo. All I remember is fun, laughter, singing, eating and being loved. Aunt Alyce and Uncle Kent are my favorite aunt and uncle because they treated me as though I was so special to them. Please know I am so sorry for your separation from her. Also know you will see her again. God bless your entire family! From She-She
