I had the distinct honor for playing for Ms. Tynes at Starks High School in the seventies. She brought me on has a JV player into the High School ranks. What a great coach she was, and what an honor it was to play for her. She truly taught the game of basketball, everything that was needed for a player to succeed, and I did, throughout my high school career. My thanks to her, and to her children, and all that love her. I will miss her dearly. She was a great person.
Words can't express how much Alice meant to our family. She was a dear friend, and although she will be missed greatly, she will be remembered fondly.
Our hearts go out to you all.
With love and sympathy,
Dawn, Woody, and Skyler
Alice (known as Mama)I have known mama for 18 years, and she touched everybody in some way or another. Mama was a very special lady to me very kind. The family you dearly have my sympathy. Love you. I will be praying. My Angel is resting. Love you
I had the privilege of meeting Alice only a few short months ago. In these past few months I learned that the most important thing to her was her family. She was such a kind, generous and sweet lady. She will be missed.
We will miss you dear Friend.
On a visit to Dr. Mock's office this morning, my husband and I sadly learned of Alice's passing. I remember very few visits to the doctor's office when Alice was not there, and she always greeted us by first name. We will miss her.
Our condolences to her family.
