Anita Cardenas Melchor's Obituary
Anita “Annie” Cardenas Melchor passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Roque and Maria Pena; and son David Melchor. Left to cherish Annie’s memory are her sons Gabriel Melchor, Marcos Melchor; grandchildren Michael, Melina, David Jr., Breanna, Kayley, Xavier, Gabrielle, Jordan, Nicholas, Max, Joel, Vivian; lifelong friends Herlinda Garcia, Celilia Diaz, and a host of other dear family and friends.
Anita was an extremely strong and hard-working mother who was a wonderful provider for her family. Anita had a successful career in Radio. She enjoyed listening to music and going to dances. Anita also enjoyed watching her sons perform on stage. She loved casino trips to play the slot machines. Anita was very patriotic and was immensely proud of her Mexican heritage. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. They all adored her and affectionately called her “Grandma”. Anita will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
