Annamma Saimon's Obituary
Annamma Saimon (Panakkamannil Ammachi) was born on May 25, 1935 as the third child for late P.C. John and Saramma John in lyroor, kozhencherry. After her birth, their family moved to Channapetta Kollam and joined the Marthoma Church, Channapetta. In 1958, she was married to Mr. Y. Simon and took a vital role in the success of her husband’s business. In 1987, she visited her sister in California, and also went to Oklahoma to visit her brother. There she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and got baptized in Grace Pentecost church. Then soon after she went back to India and became an active member of Assembly of God church, Channapetta. Later their whole family got saved and joined the Channapetta AG church. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ wholeheartedly and desired to honor him in all areas of her life. She was a prayer warrior and used her abilities to promote and serve others.
She visited her son and family in Houston multiple times since 2008. In 2014, she migrated to the US, and worshipped in True light Christian Assembly, Houston with her son and family. While she was in the U.S, she was involved in various mission activities.
On Friday, May 13, 2016, Annamma Saimon went to be with the presence of her Savior whom she loved. She will be lovingly remembered by her son John Simon (Shaji) and daughters Mollamma, Lissy, and Jomole. Daughter- in law: Betty, Son- in law: Josemon, Jose, and Sunny. Grand children: Jerin, Sherin, Jeffin, Krupa, Sneha, Don, Hana, Achsa, and Kezia. Annamma was predeceased by her husband Y. Simon, who went to be with the Lord in 1989. As a family the lord has blessed us over the years through our dear Ammachi. While she will be greatly missed, we will always reflect with joy on the life she lived and seek to keep abreast in her footsteps - serving the Lord until he calls us home or he reverts.
