Annetta found her greatest joy in the simple, beautiful pleasures of life. Whether casting a line into salt or fresh water, tending to her garden, or simply soaking in the peace of the outdoors, she felt most at home beneath an open sky. She had a natural love for all animals and a gentle way about her that drew them close. Affectionately known as “Nana,” she treasured her family above all else. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she lovingly prepared meals that brought everyone together. Holidays and family gatherings were especially dear to her, filled with laughter, stories, and the comfort of being surrounded by those she loved most.
Annetta also had a spirited side that made life with her an adventure. She enjoyed trips to Lake Charles to try her luck, and found excitement in target shooting as well, a pastime she was very skilled at. Above all, Annetta’s warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain her lasting legacy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Annetta will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland, on Wednesday, February 25th. Her family will receive guests during a visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, with the service commencing at 1:00 pm.
