Arvid Lynn Sundbeck's Obituary
Arvid Lynn Sundbeck, 75, passed away Friday, January 28th, 2022. Arvid is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Prebble (White) Sundbeck. Left to cherish Arvid’s memory are his wife of 27 years, Holly Sundbeck; sons, Chad Sundbeck and wife Monica, and Cody Sundbeck and wife Rachel; brother, Milton Sundbeck and wife Joy; grandchildren, Brandon and wife Eliana, Baylie, Bethany, Mia, London, Henning, Julie, and Evan; along with a host of many other dear family and friends.
Arvid was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Growing up he was a wonderful athlete who competed as a Pole Vaulter at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. He later graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. During the Vietnam war Arvid proudly served in the United States Navy and received various medals.
Arvid was a great father, grandfather, husband, friend, and businessman. He was an incredibly bright man and a hard worker, finding great success as a business owner. Arvid also enjoyed great success as a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to share his life with them. His children and grandchildren were special to him, he was very proud of each of them. He especially enjoyed coaching his sons’ little league baseball teams, and watching his grandkids play various sports. Arvid was also an avid fisherman, enjoyed traveling, and raising black Brangus cattle. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
