View Tribute Book Aurora Mendoza Galela, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents Florentino and Beatriz Mendoza; and six brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Alberto Galela; son Larry Miranda and wife, Myra; daughter Evelyn Mendoza and husband, Danilo; sister Evelina Sangel; grandchildren Louis, Mauliver, Lianne, Lenise, Lucas, Daniel, Dandrei, and a host of many other family and friends.Aurora was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who adored her family. She was selfless and always put others’ needs before her own. Her biggest joy in life was her family, and she always made taking care of them her number one priority. Aurora was a wonderful cook, and in her spare time she loved going out with friends, eating out at restaurants, attending parties, and dancing with everyone. She never met a stranger and knew how to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Aurora will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Services for Aurora will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 S. 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
