Benton Scott Fleming

Benton Scott Fleming Jr., 62, of LaPorte, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13.
Scott or “Scottie” as many knew him, was born on February 19, 1953 in Houston, Texas. In the late 1960s his family moved to LaPorte where he attended high school. After graduating from UT Austin, he returned to LaPorte where he lived and operated his business, Bay Area Appraisals, for over 30 years.
Scott leaves behind his kids, Rita and Luke, sister, Joan Fleming, sister, Diane Strassburg, brother in law, Bing Strassburg, brother, Guy Fleming and many precious friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Alma Busch, his parents Ben and Narcille Fleming and many dear friends.
Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, September 26th at Gateway Community Church, Life Center, Entrance #5, 760 Clear Lake City Blvd. Webster, TX 77598. A gathering will be held at the Classic Cafe afterwards to honor Scott and celebrate his life.
Scott loves his kids, friends and family with all his heart.
