View Tribute Book Bessie “Florence” Nation, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 95. Florence was born February 22, 1928, in Houston, Texas, to the late Belton and Bessie Emmett. She retired from the USPS after 30 years of service.Florence was married to Robert H Nation until his passing in 2007. She was extremely intelligent and loved to work crossword and word search puzzles. She also enjoyed gardening. In her younger years, Florence loved to ride motorcycles and bought her first Harley at the age of 19. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Florence is survived by her daughter Charlotte Moore; grandson Brian Overby; great grandchildren Brittany Overby and Austin Overby; great great grandchildren Harmony, Rylee, and Miley, and a host of other friends and family.A memorial service will be held for Florence on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas.
