In looking for my friend Heather, I found that cancer had taken Mrs. Hutchinson, just as it took my grandmother, which they both met & got to know each other through field trips – Mrs. Hutchinson was a wonderful person, now she is an angel! My deepest sympathies though late are with all the family!
Friendly chats, watching our house, prayer meetings, exchanging recipes, tending to civic duites, knowing everyone in the neighborhood, maintaining her property, trusting us to call for help in an emergency (or maybe just to listen to a funny noise in her car), caring – That was Bettie, a good neighbor a good friend. We will miss her greatly.
