Betty was affectionately known as BB her entire life which was short for “Beautiful Betty”. As a young girl growing up in Kingsville, Texas she was given the key to the city after winning the National Championship in a business competition. She loved to travel and she and her mother would go all over the country to coin shows. It was during this time that she became quite the coin collector. BB had a successful career in Seoul, Korea and loved every minute of the ten years she spent overseas. She was an avid reader and was often times known to finish more than one book a day. BB enjoyed playing slots and reminiscing about growing up on Baffin Bay with her friends and family by the water. Her great accomplishment was her grandchildren. She cherished every moment she had to spend with them and took great pride in spoiling every one of them. BB will be greatly missed by all that knew and cherished her memory.
A memorial service for BB will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Randy Ledbetter officiating.
