Rest in Peace, sweet Betty. You are a Queen! You were the only one who treated me with kindness and respect when I needed it the most when I was suffering from Palehorse13. I took your advice and everything got better in my life!
I'm happy I got to spend fun times with you when I installed your first computer and gardened with you a little when I visited. You had the best backyard in Jersey City. You were smart, funny, caring, sweet and made the best pimento cheese sandwiches. Love you and I know you are enjoying Heaven!

I was very sad to hear about the loss of Betty Morris. My sincere condolences to all of you. Mrs. Morris was a second mother to me growing up through high school and college. So many good memories. A heart ♥️ of gold. I will always remember the kindness she showed to me the many times I stayed over or hung out at the house with the guys. Mrs. Morris was like New Jersey’s mom. There for everyone in her own special way. A job well done you will always be remembered and never forgotten. SALUTE, SALUTE, SALUTE.

Betty was very, very special to us. She was our neighbor, she was a friend, but most of all she was family. We feel so blessed and so happy to have been part of her life for so many years (more than 30). We have so many wonderful memories of time we spent with Betty, from special holiday get togethers on Christmas or Thanksgiving, to running across the street for a quick visit to see her Amaryllis flower, get some advice, or listen to a funny story she wanted to share. We miss her and love her and she will always be in our hearts.

Ms. Betty was my friend as of 2002 when I first met her when I lived across the street from her in Jersey City. She was special to me. I looked up to her like the loving & caring mom that she was. Ms. Betty had friends of all age group. I’m going to miss her so much. I miss our day trips when we go to the outlet mall, dinner, visiting her in Ashburn VA & in San Antonio TX. I ❤️ You Ms. Betty.
