I grew up in the church with Betty's children, what great memories. She was friends with my mother, and a very sweet kind loving person. It is so sad that she is gone, but now safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior. God bless her family during this time.

Betty and I met as freshmen at ACC in 1961 and became very good friends. We roomed together in the dorm and enjoyed running around together. She was always so funny. She could take just about any situation and make me laugh about it. I was maid of honor at her wedding and enjoyed keeping up with her over the years as our lives took different paths. When I visited with her by phone at Christmas of 2018, she talked about how wonderful her grandkids were and how well her son’s and daughters-in-law were taking care of her. I thank God for every remembrance of “Huck!”
Eddie and I enjoyed serving on the Adult Education Committee at church with Betty. She was passionate about teaching Bible truths and worked tirelessly preparing the series "Heroes of the Bible".
