Beulah May Windham's Obituary
Beulah May Windham, 87, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Armentine Wheeler; husband, James Allen Windham; and brothers, Charles and Sonny Wheeler. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Harold Windham, David Windham and wife, Linda, Mike Windham and wife, Jennifer; brothers, Carlton, Larry and Eugene Wheeler; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamye, Amye, Prater, Caroline and Nathan; great grandchildren, James, Allison, Luke, Cole, Damian, Allysa, Sophie, Julian and Ashton; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Beulah was the matriarch of her family and always found a way to bring the family together for special events. She had a servant’s heart and was available to help anyone in need. Beulah had a long and distinguished career as a bookkeeper with Minimax for 35 years. She was a baseball mom to her sons and loved cheering on her favorite Houston Astros team. Beulah took great pride in all the autographs she had collected from her favorite players throughout the years. She loved music and cherished spending time with her family. Beulah will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services for Beulah will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571. The visitation will take place Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at La Porte Cemetery.
