Beverly Shonise Doty's Obituary
Beverly Shonise Doty, 49, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015. She is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Johns Jr. Beverly is survived by her mother, Pauline Johns; her loving husband of 20 years, Scott Doty; son, Thomas Paul Doty; daughter, Khristina Elizabeth Doty; brother, Patrick Curis Drayton; Carla G. Jackson, Deidre J. Drayton; and a host of other family and friends.
Beverly was patriotic and proudly served her country in the United States Army. She enjoyed crafts and was artistic; specializing in pencils, pastels and watercolors. Beverly’s true love though was her family. She managed and ran the household, paid the bills, cooked meals for her family every night and took care of all the needs of her children. Beverly was very thoughtful and always thinking of others with everything she did. She was an inspiration to not only her family but all that she came into contact with as she courageously fought cancer three different times. Beverly will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A graveside service for Beverly will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2426 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, Texas 77581.
