View Tribute Book Billy Don Hardcastle Sr, age 80, of La Porte, TX, passed away on February 15, 2024. He was born in Kensett, Ark., on January 12,1944 to T.W. Hardcastle and Mable (Norman) Hardcastle.Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sheryl Lea Hardcastle, his parents, brothers; Henry Hardcastle, Murrell Hardcastle and sister Carolyn Newman.He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Deborah Hardcastle of La Porte TX, sons; Billy Don Hardcastle Jr. of Tulsa OK, Paul Hardcastle of Richmond TX, Robert Mobley Jr. of La Porte TX, Jody Mobley of La Porte TX, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.Bill graduated from Rogers High School and then spent 22 years in the United States Navy as a submariner and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. After retirement he spent another 30 years as an electrician.Bill loved to fish, to go camping, and just be outdoors in general, most of all, he loved spending time with his family.A visitation will be held at Clayton Funeral Home (201 S 3rd St. LA Porte, TX 77571) at 10:00AM on February 24th, 2024. Service will begin at 11:00 AM.Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Oak Bluff Cemetery (618 Block St. Port Neches, TX 77651).Pallbearers will be, Robert Mobley III, Jeremy Kennedy, Mikey Kennedy, Joel Reyes, Sherman Moore, Brock May, and Glen Vail.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Texas Veterans Helping Veterans Inc. www.helpingtexasveterans.org
