Dear Melba, you & Billy have been on my mind lately. Since I hadn't heard from you in a long time, I thought I'd check on his Facebook site, only to find this!!! I am so sorry. I pray he didn't suffer long & I pray that you are doing ok. I'll always remember the fun times we had our Bandits' luncheons!!!
I saw Billy frequently at the labor council and always enjoyed the time I spent talking with him. He taught me lot about leading a union. He was truly a great person and a wonderful union leader.

For the past seven years, I was very blessed to get to know and work with Billy in Texas Alliance for Retired Americans. He served as one of our Executive Board members representing the IAM. When I saw him in person or talked with him on the phone, our conversations always made my day and I will always treasure those times. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family at this time. May the Lord surround you with comfort and peace.

I was saddened to hear of Billy's passing. Billy and I have countless hours of us doing politics and Union Business together He will be sorely missed!
I fondly remember Bill playing saxophone beside me In the San Jac Jazz Band and the League City Concert Band. He is missed. My condolences to the family.

I have been retired for five years and haven’t seen him lately and hope passed away peacefully
So sorry to hear about Billy’s passing. I knew him for many years as our IAM local lodge 1786 President. No one worked as hard at that job before or since and he helped so much better the lives of all union members at NASA and l for one really appreaciated him. RIP Billy.
