Billy Dean West, 67, of La Porte passed away Thursday January 29, 2009. He was born February 9, 1941 in Palasade, Colorado to Nellie Wolf Carey and Johnnie West. He was preceded in death by wife Patsy Gene West, brothers Roy, Gene, and sister Mary Katherine. Billy is survived by wife Eva West, children Robert West and Judy of Dayton, TX, Steven West and Michelle of Henderson, TX, Becky Turpin and Lawrence of Utah, Sandra Murphy and Billy of Dayton, TX, Jason West and Leean of Dayton, TX, Michael Witherell and Jay of Henrietta, TX, Angela Cox and Bobby of Dayton, TX, sisters Lucille Baty of Newport, AR, Marie Howard of Anahuac, TX, Betty Lewis of Newport, AR, brother David West of Newport, AR, 19 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday February 1, 2009 at 1-4 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday February 2, 2009 at 10 AM at the funeral home.
