View Tribute Book Carol Ann Abramson Moses Chantos, 81, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Fanny Abramson; husbands, Joe Moses and Russ Chantos; and brother, Mike Abramson. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mitch Moses and wife, Rosa, Mike Moses; grandchildren, Krissy, Jenny, Kelly, Chad, Britney and Ashley; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Carol was born to AJ Abramson and Fanny Cole Flowers in Shreveport La on December 18, 1937. She attended Leesville High School where she was a cheerleader, homecoming queen, and in the Drama Club. Carol married her high school sweetheart and football star Joe Moses. They began their life together in Leesville LA, then Shreveport and spent a short time in Los Angeles finally settling in Houston. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was an excellent saleswoman for JC Penny where she was #3 in the nation for sales. She loved dancing, music, storms and the movies. Carol will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Carol will be held on Friday, January 25th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12521 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, Texas 77346. The visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am with the funeral service starting at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas.
