She is preceded in death by her parents Geraldean and Beulah Clingan; loving husband Charles Lee Williams; brother Gerald Dean Clingan; sisters Shirley Lee Rankin, and Barbara Jean O’Neil. Left to cherish her memory are her brother Richard Leroy Clingan; and sisters Bertha Crowfoot, Esther Clingan, and a host of other family and friends.Carolyn had a very big imagination, a great memory, and was an extremely thoughtful person. She always remembered family and friends’ birthdays. Carolyn attended San Jacinto Junior College. In her spare time, she loved watching soap operas and game shows. Carolyn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Services for Carolyn will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 S. 3rd Street, LaPorte, Texas. The visitation is scheduled from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor D.J. Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, in Pasadena, Texas
