She is preceded in death by her father, Weldon Rogers. Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Mark Hokanson; mother, Jackie Tisdale Rogers; sons, Kris Hokanson and wife Kim, and Jordan Hokanson; brother, Charles Rogers and wife Terri; sister Carol Pringle and husband Mark; grandchildren, Makena and Andrew Hokanson; and a host of many other family and dear friends.Cathy met and married her Pearland High School band sweetheart, Mark Hokanson. She played flute while Mark played clarinet. Cathy was always very caring and her thoughtfulness extended to all her friends and family in need. She was always up for an adventure, especially if it involved shopping, and could talk you into just about anything. Cathy loved planning and throwing parties which always included her well known party punch. She also had a passion for decorating and loved to create beautiful spaces. As a grandmother she was affectionately known as “Honna-B” by her grandchildren whom she doted on constantly. Cathy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.A Memorial Service for Cathy will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581 with Pastor Bill Cole officiating.
