Cecilia Enriquez Lutian's Obituary
Cecilia Enriquez Lutian passed away in Houston, Texas, on Monday, January 26th, 2026, at the age of 87. She is preceded in death by her seven siblings, parents, Vidal Enriquez and Margarita Eijansantos, her husband, Abdulgafar Lutian and her granddaughter, baby Jill. Cecilia is survived by her son, Gafar Lutian and wife Gina; daughters, Arlene Bonggot and husband Joel, Daisy Gagarin and husband Gilly, and Margie Lutian; grandchildren, Kristina, Lea, Karen, Angel, Justin, Josua, Jerome, and Dominic; and a host of many other family and friends.
Cecilia was a woman of remarkable warmth, spirit, and devotion, a beloved mother of four children, and a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren. She was present for each of their milestones and deeply invested in their lives. She was a devout Catholic whose strong faith guided her life and sustained her through any challenge. For more than 30 years, she dedicated herself to her work as an elementary school teacher.
An avid Yankees fan, Cecilia never missed a chance to cheer on her team with unwavering loyalty. She loved to sing and delighted in sharing her favorite music. Cecilia was also a gifted storyteller with a sharp memory and quick wit. Her talents extended into the kitchen, where her cooking was renowned among friends and family and became a cherished part of countless gatherings. She was a true fashionista who had an eye for style and a gift for matching every occasion with just the right outfit. Cecilia was the life of every party, known for her energy, laughter, and unmistakable presence. Her love, faith, and vibrant spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Cecilia’s family will receive guests during a visitation at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland, on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place the following day, Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Manvel, Texas, commencing at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the Mass at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
