Celia Acevedo-Ovalle's Obituary
Celia Acevedo-Ovalle, 58, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Nicandro and Maria Acevedo; her loving husband, of 34 years, Francisco Lugo; sons, Jose Ortiz, Cristian Lugo, and Ricardo Lugo; daughters, Ana Ortiz, Diana Lugo, and Laura Lugo; six brothers; three sisters; twelve grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Celia was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that cherished spending all her time with her family. She took great pride in cooking her special recipes for her family. Celia enjoyed the outdoors and took special care of her flowers, garden and chickens. She was affectionately known as “Chata” to her family. Celia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 6502 County Road 48, Manvel, Texas 77578 with Father Tom Ponzini officiating. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
