Charles Eugene Barnes, 68, of Baytown, TX passed away November 25, 2015. He was born on July 25, 1947 in Iuka, Mississippi to Raymond Barnes and Beryl Lennox. He served in the United States Air Force, after discharge he was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife Paula Barnes; his children Beryl Thatcher and husband Mackenzie of Austin, TX; Betty Elias and husband Tony of Houston, TX; Letty Rodriguez and husband Jason Stanke of Houston, TX; Beth Tweed and husband Robert of Austin, TX; Mychelle Carlberg and husband Robert of Olive, OK. He leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday November 28, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Paul U. Lee LaPorte Funeral Home. Services will be Sunday November 29, 2015 at 2pm at Paul U. Lee LaPorte Funeral home with internment immediately following at LaPorte Cemetery LaPorte, TX.
