John Edmunds
In 1977 Chuck was the Operations Manager at the Tenneco refinery where I began my career. What I remember most from that time about Chuck was that he had a fantastic technical grasp as well as a serious perspective on the business, but also had a wry sense of humor and enjoyed pointing out absurdities when the opportunity arose. Kind of predated Dilbert. He could roll with the punches. When he had a setback in his career when management changed, he didn't complain and gracefully tried to find a way to continue to contribute. Connie and family, think of what a long, full, and interesting life of accomplishment he led when you miss him.
