Christina Mae Shippey's Obituary
Christina Mae Shippey, 33, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father, Jay Custer. Christina is survived by mother, Cathy Custer; her loving husband of 9 years, Chris Shippey; son, Malakhi Jay Shippey; daughter, Brooklyn Grace Shippey; grandfather, Raymond Custer; brothers, Jonathan Custer and wife, Sarah, Jason Custer; sister, Michaela Borinstein and husband, Blake; and a host of other family and friends.
Christina was a woman of great faith that had an inspiring belief in God. She encouraged others around her and loved people wholeheartedly. Her contagious smile could light up any room she was in. Christina loved being a stay at home mommy and cherished every moment she had with her children. She enjoyed reading, learning, photography and playing board games with family and friends. Christina also loved sunshine, traveling, and fresh flowers, but will be remembered most by her love for Jesus. She has left an indelible mark on everyone she has encountered with her courage and inspiration. Christina will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The visitation for Christina will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Crosspoint Church, 1134 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at Crosspoint Church with Bryan Shippey officiating. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
