Chris was a caring man who would give you the shirt off his back! I was fortunate to have met you when I picked Chuck up the beginning of 2009! If it wasn’t for you, I would have never met the most important person in my life, your son Chuck! I will miss our talks as well as your laughter. You hold a special place in my heart an I will always love you… Sandie
God’s Garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, ‘Peace bethine’.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
I love you dad..you’ll always be in my heart. No matter where you were or when words were unspoken I always knew you loved me.
I love you Dad. You were an awesome cook! I loved your chicken-fried steak. I’m sad that we won’t be able to take that Harley ride we talked about. I want to thank you for boldly telling me I was on a train wreck when all others were to afraid to speak up. I loved that about you…you wasnt afraid of speaking your mind. I will forever miss our talks and your humor. Have that Harley ready to ride when i get up there. I love you so much.
Love always your
daughter, April (:

My condolences to Cher and her family. Chris will be greatly missed. In the past 10 years that we have known him, he has been very gracious and supportive to me and my children. He had a free spirit. I will miss my talks with him and his uplifting character. Thank you Chris for all you have giving to us. You were the second Grandpa that my children never have. Love you!!
