Clarence was wonderful co-worker. I always looked forward to our Operations team meetings because we would get a brief second to catch up and he would tell me all about his family and how his son was doing so well in football. He beamed when he talked about his family. They were his everything.
He always was checking on others and wanted to make sure we knew he cared. When I was pregnant, I had a scare in the very early stages of my pregnancy. He told me to come to radiology every other week, just so I would have the peace of mind. He said, " don't worry about it, we will take care of you." I can't tell you in that moment how comforted that made me feel. He knew as a father himself, how concerned I was and made sure that me getting an ultrasound to check on my baby was never the issue. If I didn't come get an ultrasound and he saw me in the hall he would say " Ashley, I haven't seen you, when are you coming for your ultrasound?" and he meant it.
Clarence was a friend, a mentor and a man of God. He will be greatly missed here, but I know God has a great talking buddy and you all have a guardian angel.
Sending you and your family all of my prayers and condolences.
