Clarence H "Kano" Koehn's Obituary
Clarence H. “Kano” Koehn, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Leona Koehn. Kano is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mildred Koehn; son, Bruce Koehn; daughters, Karen Hannan and husband, Bob, Lisa Koehn; grandchildren, Melissa Perry and husband, Danny, Christine Flores and husband, David; great grandchildren, Grace, Emma and Owen Perry; and a host of other family and friends.
Kano was dedicated to his family and an excellent provider. He was a hard worker and had a successful career as a pipe fitter with Shell Chemical for many years. Kano was very patriotic and loved his God and served his country in the United States Army. He could fix just about anything mechanical or electrical and was even known to rebuild a tractor. Kano overcame many health problems throughout his life and never complained about any of it. He faced every challenge head on with courage and his strong will. Kano was affectionately known as “Pops” to his family and grandchildren and cherished every opportunity he had to spend time with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Kano will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father James Courville officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
