Clyde Duane Dempsey, Sr.

Clyde Duane Dempsey, Sr. passed away at his home in Pasadena, TX on April 27, 2008. He was born in San Antonio, TX on November 30, 1937. He is survived by his wife Robbie J. Dempsey, sons Clyde D. Dempsey Jr. of Bacliff, TX, Paul Dempsey of Houston, TX, daughter Robyn M. Talbot of Webster, TX, stepson James Ellis III and Theresa of Houston, TX, step daughter Regina A. Ellis of Humble, TX, brothers Jack Dempsey and JoAnn of Sequin, TX, Gary Dempsey of Boerne, TX, sisters Rita Dempsey of Deer Park, TX, Janet Machnicek and Louis of Webster, TX, 5 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Plumbers Local Union #68 for 50 years. He was also maintenance supervisor for 15 years at Happy Harbor Nursing Home of La Porte.
He was a loving, caring, father and husband whom loved his family very much. He was always smiling or laughing if not whistling. He loved fishing and dancing that were his two favorite hobbies. H was always cheerful and a very uplifting person. He was well liked by any and every one he met. He was also an out going person. He loved reading the Bible and talking about the events that took place and that were about to take place. He was truly a God fearing person, whom loved God immensely.
A memorial service will be held Saturday May 10th at 2:30 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel.
