View Tribute Book Cody Carlson Jr passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at the young age of 16. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Jennifer Hartman. Cody leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Cody Carlson Sr and Cassie Rankin; sisters, Chevelle Carlson, Callie Carlson, Colette McReynolds, and Nessa Hickey; grandmother, Robbie Ann Cowan; uncle, Dustin Rankin, who Cody affectionately knew as Uncle Doodle Bug; and a host of other cousins, family, and friends who loved him.Cody was an adventurous young man who wasn’t afraid of taking risks in life. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor, and always loved a good joke. Cody enjoyed playing with Bey Blades and spending time with his family. He was very proud when he became an Uncle of his nephew Zae. He loved his family more than anything and was extremely protective of them. Cody will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A Funeral service will be held for Cody at Clayton Funeral Home of La Porte on Monday, December 23rd, 2024, beginning at 11:00 am.
