Connie was born September 19, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Dorothy Jean Nalley and Dan Bailey. In her lifetime, she was anchored by her faith, her family and her friends. She had a great career in outside sales and had recently began her retirement. She loved shopping, golf, bocci, pickle ball and spending time visiting with loved ones on her back porch. She lived for spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had an abundance of friends and loved her Golfcrest Family and rarely said no to a party invite. She was the first to give you a compliment and hug your neck! Connie was the life and the heartbeat of every gathering and didn’t hesitate to share her laughter and love with anyone around her. Her sharp wit wrapped in a gentle heart became deeply a part of everyone who knew her. The void that is felt in her absence is a tribute to her unwavering love for being a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. There’s no doubt the gates of Heaven opened wide—and with a smile, a perfect outfit, and that signature sassy walk, she made her grand entrance.
The visitation for Connie will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
