View Tribute Book Daniel Shook, 45, passed away Saturday, October 28, at his residence in La Porte, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Verna “Jean” Shook; brother, Rickie Shook; and grandfather, Bryan Shook. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Ashlyn, and Kaitlyn Shook; father Rick Shook; nephew Bryce Shook; grandmother, Cletus Shook; aunts Eva West and Sharon Tallady; cousins, Micky Witherell, Angie Cox, Brandi Valentine, Jessica Tallady and Candace Schnelle; and many other family and friends.Danny was born in Grand Rapids Michigan and moved to Texas at the age of Five. Danny enjoyed his occupation as a surveyor in the Pipeline Industry. He was an avid golfer and played frequently at Bay Forest Golf Course. He was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in La Porte. Danny loved music and singing, he even went to Nashville in early 2000 and recorded a couple of songs and gained much experience in the music industry. Fishing was also a big part of Danny’s life. Danny enjoyed spending time with family and friends and making memories. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.A Memorial Service for Danny will be held at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel in La Porte on Friday November 10, at 11:00 AM.
