I grew up right across the street from David on Ray street. We were buddies as little kids until we moved. We stayed in touch as teenagers and then lost contact. I'm shocked and saddened to read of his passing. Rest in Peace my friend.

Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same.
Our prayer are with you sweet daughters and David’s sweet mother. Your dad was very brave to the end. His burden was heavy, but he faced his battle with Dignity and strength. He has made to his final home and has been reunited with the love of his life, your mother. You are loved❤️
I only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cobbs once at Jon and Shelby's wedding. He was so proud of his baby girl, it was so beautiful to see. Over the years I've seen so many wonderful pictures of him with his grandbaby Weston and family. May he rest in peace and continue to watch over his beautiful family ♡ Love Lacey, Nick, and Gunner
Your dad is with Jesus, on that day his suffering ended he walked into paradise. God bless you Shelby, and your family. My condolences.

I’m so sorry for y’alls loss Megan and Shelby I Love y’all. I always liked David he treated me great and I always enjoyed hanging out with him. I wish I would have made an effort to hang with him more. He was a good man and y’all should be proud to be his daughters. I’m sorry for the pain you all are feeling but know he is in a better place and with your mama. It’s not easy I know so hang in there b I’ll be praying for y’all.
Shelby & Meghan - I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine how difficult this must be. But your Dad is not suffering anymore and is now dancing in Heaven with your beautiful mom. And I know they are both looking down on all of the family and smiling and rejoicing knowing how much they are loved. I pray for your peace and comfort & please know I am here if you need anything!
When I first met David he was dating my sister Brenda. They were so perfect for each other. I remember watching him watch Brenda and later each of his daughters. He was so proud of his ladies and loved them dearly. After Weston was born he watched him with the same glow and pride. He will be greatly missed by everyone. I know there was a great reunion Friday when he passed. He is with Brenda again and for ever. It was a blessing to know him. Have a great time with your loved ones. Love u Deb
