David, for the brief moment we spent together, you loved and cherished me like no one else had. I might have lost my life with you, but I will never loose the beautiful memories. Dear Gianechini Family
I am Ernie's half brother from Kane, Pa living now in N.C. My prayers are with you. Ernie was a real mentor to me as an older brother. I did send some pictures to David of his Dad after my other brother Dino said David contacted him years ago.
I do remember him as a little kid. My son Jason is 46 and I remember him and David playing in the dirt in 1976 in Pa.
He is with his Dad now. Ernie just adored his son

A husband, a best friend , the father of our daughter...you will be missed more than you will ever know. While "our" journey together as a family was almost at end and new chapters for both us were ahead, it did not mean the love I had for you was lost. I am deeply saddened David as my heart aches for Julia. I cant believe you are gone. Our Julia is a beautiful soul and the daughter you wanted her to be. I will continue to raise her like we planned and protect her. I see you in her everyday and I promise you, I will never let her forget you and the kind of man you were. I thank God I was able to spend your last week on this earth with you and share that with both of your daughters. I was able to hold your hand one last time and tell you how much I loved you and to thank you. Watch over us and protect us David. I know in my heart how much you love us.

I am heartbroken to hear of David's passing. He was a great friend with a outsized personality and a heart of gold. May the Lord bless and keep he and his family in the days and months to come.
I am so sorry to hear this. I worked with David for a number of years and had some great times going to drag races and other events with David. He will be missed by those who knew him. My heart and prayers go out to Julia and his mother. May you Rest In Peace old friend.
