Pearland’s oldest born citizen, David W. Scott aka “Mr. Pearland” passed away at the age of 95, Friday, May 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Joannah Scott; his loving wife, Read Obituary
So much history has been lost. Mr. Scott was always a joy to talk to and I learned a lot from the time I was able to spend with him. His figure prints are all over Pearland. We would not have the same town if he had not been a part of this community.

Uncle David was a great man…he lived a great life and has the respect of so many people…he had a big impact on so many people…I will never forget all the things he did for me and my family…May he rest in peace with the Lord.
