Della Mae (Powell) Evans. On February 6, 2017. Della had a lifelong and varied career as a Registered Nurse, working both in direct patient care and in supervision/administration. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Read Obituary
Della became very dear to me. I enjoyed our time together at the Villages and after. She loved the Lord and wanted to spend her time in service to Him until she wasn't able. She had a very sharp mind and enjoyed reading, crocheting, going out to eat, visiting her sons and her church friends.
I will miss her, but know I will see her again!!
My heart grieved when I heard of Della Mae's passing. In these later years, I was not around her very much but do remember her when I was growing up. She always told me she rocked me when I was a baby and she loved me very much.
Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers as you go thru this sad time
in your life. May the God of all Comfort be with you.
