Delpha Mae McLaughlin, 77, of La Porte passed away Friday August 13, 2010. She was born April 2, 1933 in La Porte, Texas to Bertha Nickel and Carlton Russell. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and volunteered for the Seafarers Center. Delpha is preceded in death by son Brian Dodson, Barry Dodson, Russell Dodson, and brother Virgil Russell. She is survived by her husband Bob McLaughlin, son Michael McLaughlin and wife Lola, sister Lola Thornton, brothers Jim Russell, Dalton Russell, grandchildren Jana McLaughlin, Robbie McLaughlin, Victoria McLaughlin, Jennifer Falcone, Sheila Dodson, Tabatha Dodson, Bryan Dodson, and great grandchildren Seth Brazire and Rylee Dodson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday August 21, 2010 at 2 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel.
