Denise Gonzalez Rodarte's Obituary
Denise Gonzalez Rodarte, 72, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Tomas and Reynalda Gonzalez; husband Hector Raul Rodarte; siblings, Maria del Pilar Gonzalez Ibarra, Jose Antonio Gonzalez Ibarra, Raul Gonzalez Ibarra and Gilberto Gonzalez Ibarra. Denise is survived by her sons, Hector Rodarte, Jr. and his wife Laura, Gilbert Rodarte and wife, Pam; sister Margarita Gonzalez Ibarra and brothers Tomas Gonzalez Ibarra and Jesus Gonzalez Ibarra; granddaughters, Analeah and Alisia Rodarte; and a host of many other family and friends.
Denise was a wonderful daughter and sister while growing up. She later grew into a loving and devoted wife and mother to her sons. Denise had many wonderful friends who she enjoyed playing Loteria and cards with. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor. One of Denise’s favorite things to do was spend time with her two granddaughters. She prayed for them constantly and was so proud to see them grow into young adults. She was a woman of great faith and a good example of how to live your life in service to others. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A visitation for Denise will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021, at 10:30 am, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, in Pearland, Texas, with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
