Donald Clifton Scott's Obituary
Donald “Don” Clifton Scott, 69, passed away Sunday, September 27. 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Katharine Scott. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Scott; son, Chris Scott and wife, Nikki; daughter, Julia Ferrell and husband, Mike; sister, Diana Russell and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Anne, Emily, Megan, Michael, Erin, Hudson, and Clara; nephew, Alex Russell; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Don was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an excellent provider for his family and had a successful career as a Construction Manager for Dow Chemical. Don graduated from Galena Park High School. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. Don was strong in his faith and loved the Lord. He served actively at Sagemont Church and Bethany Baptist in Hearne. Don had a servant’s heart and proudly supported the Boy Scout program and Dobie Cross-Country. He cherished spending time with his family and always looked forward to the holidays when he could play with his grandkids and their toys at Christmas. Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
