Doris Ruth Zlomke
October 29, 1930 - October 26, 2014
Doris Ruth Hamilton Zlomke, born October 29, 1930 on the family farm in La Porte, TX passed away October 25, 2014. Married to her husband Frank in 1948, Doris devoted her life to her family, making a warm home and wonderful life for their children. She worked tirelessly in her yard creating a beautiful area with flowers, plants and statuary. Her love of puzzles and butterflies can be seen throughout her home. She is preceded in death by her father, George Hamilton and mother Jesse Theall Hamilton, two sisters Ada Jones and Maudie Guimarin, brother Hayes Hamilton, husband Frank Leo Zlomke, Jr. and son Frank Thomas Zlomke.
She is survived by daughter Linda Gray, son Leonard Zlomke, daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Ronnie Woods, son and daughter-in-law Charlton and Colleen Zlomke, grandkids Temple Raney, Wesley Arthur, Nicole Cook, Jeremy Woods, Tiffany Rodriguez, Tennille Smith, Sydney Kennedy and Logan Zlomke along with 19 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at noon at the Zlomke home. Family and friends are welcome.
