View Tribute Book Earnest Aaron Brown Jr. was born October 2, 1958, to proud parents Earnest and Emma Brown. Earnest Jr, a true Texan, was born in La Porte, Texas. After a brief stay in the hospital, he came home with his parents to 810 S. 4th Street in La Porte, Texas. He attended La Porte Elementary and La Porte High School. After obtaining his high school degree, Earnest Jr. worked at the United States Postal Services in La Porte. Earnest Jr. loved playing the guitar and his favorite song that he would sing with his mother was the famous hymn "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to keep; If I should die before I wake, I pray Thee, Lord, my soul to take." Most importantly, he loved his family. On April 7, 2024, our beloved son of many years, was called home to rest in the arms of Jesus. Earnest Jr. was preceded in death by sister, Kimberly Brown, and brother Wesley Brown. He is survived by his parents, Earnest Sr, and Emma Brown; Three brothers, Deon Brown, Timothy Brown (Felicia), Jaren Brown (Keeli); Three Nieces, Chevon McLeod, Courtney Brown, Delisha Brown; Three Nephews, Laramie Valverde, Tremaine Brown, Timothy Jr.; Three Great nieces, Lula McLeod, Amiya Brown, Jada Brown; Two Great nephews, Jaren Brown Jr, Elijah Valverde; and a host of aunts, uncles, and relatives.
